Sun is an excellent, knowledgeable and very attentive guide. We booked three private day tours with him in December 2012, and he made a personalized private tour for us tailored to our wishes. He is very knowledgeable about the ancient Khmer culture and the impressive temples of Angkor, but we also asked him a lot of questions about Cambodian culture today which he answered with gusto. For the duration of our stay he arranged for a driver with an airconditioned minivan, and a coolbox always stocked with ice-cold water, soda and refreshing towels. He took us to wonderful local restaurants and made recommendations about how to spend our nights in downtown Siem Reap. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Siem Reap and the impressive temples of Angkor - in fact, we have done so already to a colleague traveling in the area soon, as well as to tourists we met later on during our trip. You'll have a great time with Sun!

Sun is your PERFECT Angkor guide!
We had a fantastic private tour with Sun Bunthoeun as our guide in Angkor! We not only saw the most beautiful temples (Banteay Srei, Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, the Ruolos complex...), we also learned a great deal about Khmer culture, Buddhism, Hinduism, local customs and much more. All thanks to Sun.
He also arranged comfortable transportation with airconditioning, ice cold drinks and wet towels. This was very welcome with temperatures of well over 30°C.
Sun is very fun to have around. He’s very attentive to your needs as a tourist and really goes the extra mile. I would recommend him to anyone anytime!
